Poole Park Dragon Boat Race 2026

We’re proud to be taking part in the Poole Park Dragon Boat Race 2026 in support of Forest Holme Hospice.

This year, 15 members of our team – including colleagues, family and friends – will be stepping into the boat together to represent the Douch family and the communities we care for every day. The Poole Dragon Boat Race is a fantastic opportunity for us to come together outside of our usual roles, support one another, and give something back.

At Douch Family Funeral Directors, supporting our community is at the heart of everything we do. We see first-hand the importance of compassionate care, which is why raising funds for Forest Holme Hospice means so much to us. The hospice provides vital support to patients and families across Poole, Wimborne and the Isle of Purbeck, offering comfort, dignity and care when it’s needed most.

Taking part in the Poole Dragon Boat Race is our way of showing that support. Behind every training session and every paddle stroke on the day is a shared purpose – to help ensure that more local families can access the care they deserve.
