Douch Family Funeral Directors are pleased to continue our sponsorship of Cranborne Bowling Club – known as the ‘friendly friendlies club’.
The men and women don’t play in a league but have enough fixtures to see them on the green competing once a twice a week through the summer.
They are actively looking for new members and want to hear from anyone with an interest in joining.
A ‘wake-up’ day is being held on April 9 when the clubhouse and green are woken from hibernation.
Then there are open weekends on Sunday 15th April 2018 and Sunday 6th May between 10 am and 4 pm at the Mick Loader Memorial Recreation Ground, Penny’s Lane, Cranborne (behind the doctors’ surgery).
Steve Clapton from the club said: “We have a lovely green and it is great setting to play in.
“Members come from Cranborne, the villages nearby and from farther afield.
“We’d love to attract some new members and we have a reduced fee for those joining.”
