Covid-19: Travel to Funerals

Dear families of Douch Family Funeral Directors,

The Douch Family Funeral Directors priority is the safety, well being and health of our families, community and our employees. We are actively monitoring Public Health England’s communication regarding COVID-19 to ensure a safe place for the families that we serve and our employees taking proactive measures to prevent the spread of the virus.

With this in mind, we have made changes to the use of our limousines for travelling to the funeral. Our limousines are available for travel to and from the funeral service. We have reduced the maximum number of passengers who can travel in the limousine, from seven to six.

We have fitted safety screens to all our limousines. The safety screens in our limousines provide a safety barrier between our driver and passengers. Our limousine driver will continue to follow social distancing protocols, keeping a safe distance whilst you enter and exit the limousine.

Hand sanitiser bottles will be available in the limousines and we will ask that you use the hand sanitiser each time you enter the limousine.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience and we thank you for your understanding and appreciate your support during this continued time of uncertainty.
