Ceremony Rooms

Our Ceremony Rooms are still available for use at our Parkstone, Blandford and Corfe Mullen branches for Funerals and Thanksgiving services. With a maximum of only two gatherings per day, it provides a relaxed and private alternative to a public building during this time of uncertainties. Hand sanitiser and facilities for handwashing will be available on-site and after every service, the area will be cleaned and wiped down before the next family enter. Each branch will follow these procedures to avoid the risk of spreading the virus.

Families are advised to consider restricting attendance to immediate family members only so as to minimise the number of people in the chapel.  Seating within the chapels will be coordinated to suit. Attendance should be restricted to immediate family members to:

• Spouse/Partner
• Parents/Carers
• Brothers/Sisters
• Children (and partners)

With our fully managed audio-visual facilities, including the option for recording the service for those unable to attend. Our ceremony rooms (followed by an unattended cremation) are comparable to a traditional cremation fee.

Our local independent funeral directors in Blandford offers friendly and confidential service. We can be found on East Street’s one-way system just before the Town Centre. Off-Road car parking available. We are here to help at any time of the night or day.

Our local independent funeral directors in Corfe Mullen offer friendly and confidential service. We can be found on the corner of Heckford and Wareham Road opposite the parade of shops. We have ample off-road car parking available. We can help you create something truly unique, including semi-religious and non-religious funeral services.

Ives and Shand, Parkstone

Our local independent funeral directors in Parkstone, Poole offers friendly confidential service. We can be found opposite the Old Police Station on the corner of Ashley Road and Farcroft Road. We have ample off-road car parking available. At Ives and Shand we proudly offer both religious and non-religious funeral to suit your loved one’s wishes.

Hill View Lodge, Wareham

We also have the use of this lovely little Chapel in Wareham. The chapel is small and intimate, it is perfect for a small funeral of 10 people (new BCP and Dorset restrictions), it also overlooks the Purbeck Hills and is a peaceful setting. Services can conclude with Burial or (direct) cremation.

The Italian Villa

We are also able to offer our families the use of The Italian Villa located in the gardens of Compton Acres in Poole. The Italian Villa is a beautiful venue to hold a funeral with unmatched character and stunning grounds. The same rules apply to the Italian Villa as the rest of the chapels. The seating within the Villa will be co-ordinated to adhere to the 2-metre distancing guidance, and only 10 members of the immediate family are allowed to attend (BCP and Dorset regulations).
