FUNDRAISER STORY
The Douch Family are fundraising for Tyler's Friends throughout 2020.
Tyler's Friends are a non-profit charity based in Poole, Dorset supporting bereaved parents to enable them to have the funeral of their wishes for their baby or child helping to ease some of the pain. They also provide memorial headstones for babies. Alongside this, the charity is also very keen to ensure a better working practice between medical and funeral professionals to make sure things run as smoothly as possible for the bereaved parents.
Lands End 2 John O'Groats - July 6th to July 26th. A 3-week challenge.
For this year's physical challenge, we got a Douch team together of members of staff & family to complete the Lands End to John O'Groats trek - virtually! Each person recorded their activity, could be cycling, walking, running or even rowing, tracked on a fitness app. The activity logs & distance for each week were collected and were added to the map, each week until we reach John O'Groats. We are asking everyone to join us in the #eleven4eleven challenge with Tyler's Friends Charity 🌈
Every year the charity do something to remember Tyler, who was born too soon. This year Tyler would've celebrated his 11th birthday on the 13th June. Therefore this year is the 11 challenge! The challenge will run from 18th May to 13th June (Tyler's Birthday).
We are asking everyone to challenge themselves and others in the #eleven4elevenchallenge. The rules are simple:
1. Choose your activity. It has to include the number 11!
It could be bake 11 cakes for your neighbours, run 11 miles, plant 11 plants etc...
2. Upload a video/photo on social media with #eleven4eleven and tag us Douch Family Funeral Directors and Tyler's Friends.

4. Pass the baton onto friends or families, share this post and tag your nominees on social media and they have to complete the challenge too!

Online Raffle
Due to the cancellation of any fundraising events we had planned, we are running an online raffle to help raise funds for Tyler's Friends. A suggested donation of £2.50.
Everyone who donates, your names will be entered into a draw and the winner picked out! We will then contact you with details on how to collect or deliver your prize. We do ask all participants to be within the Dorset area.
Competition ends 24th May and winner announced 25th May!
Please do help us and offer your support by way of donation. It is much appreciated.
