  1. Adele was always so full of life and energy, an example to us all.
Adele was someone who just got on and did what needed doing. Never a wasted moment.
She was kind, thoughtful and inclusive and she cared about all of us.
Adele was certainly a very special person.

The passing of someone like Adele is just so sad, it is just so difficult to put it into words
Adele will certainly leave a big hole in all our lives. She was an inspiration.

My thoughts are with all the family at this very sad time.
    With much love

  3. My Aunty Adele was a fantastic Aunty always laughing and fun to be around. So many great memories of times together from page boy at Adele and Michaels Wedding in Feb 1965 , right up until to just a few months before the first Covid ‘lockdown’. A very kind hearted person who always lit up the room, lived life to the full and loved keeping in touch with wider family and many friends. Aunty Adele will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
Our thoughts are with Michael, Katrina, Paul, Maria and all their family at this time

  5. We were in touch with Adele at least weekly by phone or email until the sudden end of her life. She was a steadfast support to her elder sister Claire with her cheerful energetic approach to living. We will miss her very much and we are grateful to her for all the love and enjoyment she brought us, from the day she was born in Claire’s case and from when she was fifteen in Nigel’s relationship to her as his sister-in-law. We offer our condolences to Michael, Katrina, Paul, Jasper, Maria and their families and her friends.

  8. Adele was a lovely person who cared deeply for others. She was an enthusiastic member of the welcome team at St Mary’s and always greeted people with a friendly smile and kind word. She will be remembered fondly by everyone.

  9. Adele was always a wonderful and caring friend to me. I will always especially remember her for her faithful, caring and steadfast leadership role for our team and members at “Open Doors”, our Monday lunchtime group at Church. Everyone, including me, felt completely cared for and safe with Adele “at the helm”. I miss her very much, and my thoughts and prayers are very much with her family at this time.
    With much love

  10. Adele was a very dear friend and colleague, to many working for the Dorset School Library service.
Our friendship continued into retirement, meeting regularly. We have some very happy memories. Lots of fun and laughter, but we went through sad times together as well, Adele always being a great support. She was interested in our families and also told us about her own, so we feel as though we know you personally, Michael, Paul, Katrina and Maria. Not forgetting Jasper whom we know she loved dearly, was very proud of, and with whom she had a very close relationship.
It was such a shock to hear the sad news. We will miss her so much, and send our love and condolences to all the family
