I am so sorry to lose my dear step-brother Angus for whom I held a deep affection. Khalid and are thinking about the family at this sad time. Angus and I shared many experiences while I was growing up at Brookside Farm and we also shared many happy family occasions over so many later years, even after I moved to Canada. My sincere condolences to his wife, Janet, sons, Philip and Jonny and daughter-in-law Melissa, to his sister Jean, niece and nephew Andrew and Alison and to all his many relatives and friends.
It was a shock to hear of the passing of Angus. We first met as neighbours in 1947 when the Purchases lived at Hope Cottage, Leigh Common. Our families became firm friends, enjoying very many shared social occasions thenceforth into the early 2000s. My thoughts are with Janet, Philip and Jonathan, and, of course, his sister Jean. Also, Andrew and Alison.
I was so sorry to hear that Angus is sadly no longer with us. He was a splendid chap and I recall with much affection our conversations during happy family gatherings at Brookside Farm over so many years. I offer my sincerest condolences to Janet, Philip, Jonathan, Melissa , his sister Jean, bless her and to his nephew and neice, Andrew and Alison. My thoughts are with you all at this sad time.
Rest in peace my old friend, good wishes Jonathan and Connie

Excellent memories from knowing you and shooting with you over the years. A lovely service today
So glad to have known Angus, off and on, all my life. His humour livened up any gathering and his kindness will stay with me always. Very best wishes and prayers to all his family and especially Janet, who is a lovely lady, and to her two wonderful sons. They are marvellous. God bless all.
Our sincere condolences to Janet and family. Dad always spoke fondly of Angus as the brother he never had.
Wendie and Ray Lovell.
A totally reliable gentleman, the best of friends who will be greatly missed.

Angus will be sorely missed. A true country gentleman
Wonderful memories of a kind, humorous man, our shared love of birds led to a competition every year as to whom had seen the first swallows arrive. My thoughts are with Janet and the family, Angus will be sadly missed by so many.
