Messages of condolence

  1. Remembering Ann Daykin , our PE teacher at Dorchester Grammar school for girls in the 1970’s. Great memories of a good and dedicated teacher who was respected by many.
    Rest In Peace Miss Daykin

    Tessa Clothier ( nee Evans)
  2. I have fond memories of Miss Daykin, one of my favourite teachers at Dorchester Grammar School for Girls.
    Rest in Peace.

    Sharon Whiting (nee Hallett)
  3. Many memories of PE lessons with Miss Daykin – especially hockey. Bridget Brook (nee Kingdom) 1970-1977

    Bridget Brook
  4. I have very fond memories of Miss Daykin, our PE teacher when I was at the Green School between 1970 and 1975. Being selected to play in the Form 2 Hockey team by Miss Daykin, was one of the highlights of my five years at DGSG. I was very pleased to meet up with her when she visited Auckland in the early 1990s while she was playing hockey for the Wessex Witches in a Golden Oldies tournament.

    Sally Brodie, Auckland, New Zealand.
  5. I think Miss Daykin is the teacher I remember best at DGSG, despite my antipathy for games of any description. I have fond memories- mixed with the smell of the new-mown field, hurdles in the sun, cold fingers strapping on hockey pads – and her kindness.

    Liz Brownlee, née Sidaway
  6. In memory of Ann Daykin, with our sincere condolences to friends and family at this difficult time. With kind wishes, all at Dorset Wildlife Trust.
