Condolences to John, Richard, Margaret, Robert, Stephen, Helen and all the family. Anne was a very kind and clever person, from helping me with English homework as a schoolboy, to being a great support to my Mum & Dad in their later years. Sadly missed. Love Richard & Lynn.

Mum, together with Dad, you gave us everything you had: the love, the support, the encouragement, the push. You were always there for your ‘babies’. And you always will be. Rest with Dad in peace. All my love.
We met through Lady St. Mary’s Young Wives Group 50+ years ago, making you my oldest friend in Wareham. Eric and David bonded through their experience of National Service and we shared a love of Gilbert and Sullivan. Who could forget an evening when I received a phone call from you asking me if I could confirm a quote from one of the Savoy Operas. You were at work in the House of Lords, reporting for Hansard during a debate on the Arts Council cancellation of funding to the D’Oyly Carte Opera Company. As I had the full libretti I was able to provide you and your fellow reporters with correct quotes several times throughout their Lordship’s debate that evening!
Thank you for your friendship and the memories.
Love,
Carol.
Anne,
We will sorely miss our trips to Wareham to visit you.
Thank you for being so warm, welcoming and including us both in your family celebrations.
It was an honour to be a page boy at your wedding.
Now rest in peace with Eric.
Love Mike and Julia
Dear Anne
I have such lovely childhood memories of time spent in Wareham with you and the family at Easter.
One of the highlights was the plentiful food you always provided!
I know mum and dad cherished their friendship with both you and Eric.
Rest in peace.
Lots of love
Jo
Grandma, I can’t express how fortunate I am for you to have been my grandma. I miss you so much and hope you and grandpa are now reunited and looking after each other again as you always should be. I love you.
Big sister Anne – forever there, supporting all from the background but first to the front in times of need.
Missed beyond measure.
Rest in peace with your dear Eric. Richard
Thank you so much for being my mum and providing the love and support to your children. I will always remember your wicked sense of humour , I think I follow that from you ! I felt honoured to be with you the night before you left us and I trust that you and dad are with each other again . Love always your Robert.
From the moment Robert introduced me to his family you made me so welcome. All the family Sunday lunches you provided and the puddings, you were the unbeaten queen of the phenomenal pudding from yummy treacle pie to sublime crumbles. Family was always first and foremost for you and we will all remember you and Eric at the helm of this family with such love and fondness
Rest in peace to a dear Aunt (and Godmother). Your warmth, humour and hospitality are a highlight of all the wonderful memories shared together over the years. Enjoy the reunion with dear Eric, with all our love.

A dear sister-in-law, kind and generous, always putting family first. We have such happy memories of the family gatherings over so many years that you hosted with dear Eric. Now free from pain and together again. Rest in peace and God bless you.
I will always remember Anne with affection and admiration, for her warmth, generosity and courage and, as a co-worker over many years, as a role model.
Dear Anne,
You will always be so special to our family because you introduced Christine and I. You were the best friend Christine could have asked for and we still remember and talk about the wonderful evenings we had dancing in Surbiton Assembly rooms with you and Eric. Thank you for being part of our lives for so many years. We will miss you.
Rest in peace
David and Christine
I have so many happy memories of family holidays together in the South of France, out on the patio with a cold beer whilst you taught me French sayings to add to my small repertoire! You always made me feel so welcome from the very first time we met at your home in Staines through to the many family gatherings and Sunday roasts. Your legendary cooking skills will live on through your daughter and I’ll think of you fondly the next time we tuck into a Sunday roast with the trademark Mills roast potatoes, crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside! Say hi to Eric for me!
Dearest Anne, you will be sadly missed, free from the pain that ran throughout your life. It was an Honour to have you as my sister in law, we had many years of laughter at Christmas times and birthdays , your cooking being an absolute pleasure. Being with Eric again will be heavenly for you, perhaps Shaun might drop in for a chat, stories of old times enjoyed, Rest in Peace Anne.
I will never forget you, Anne — my dear friend and colleague.
