To my other mum who made my dad a happy, fulfilled man for almost 50 years. Barbara, you have been a source of inspiration to all of my family and those who knew you. The memories of you will always be part of a Barker home. We love and miss you.
Barbara was a wonderful Mother-in-Law to me. We liked a lot of the same things (Barker men!) and always managed to laugh together. She would ask me to jump on my broom and come and visit her and I wish I could have. She was also a kind and thoughtful Grandmother to Dylan. We have a lot of good memories of Barbara. I will still think of you often and would want you to know that you were very loved.
Barbara brought much joy into my life from so far away. Each time I was fortunate enough to visit, she would fill the room with stories. I’m so grateful for her, and the times she shared with me and my parents. She was loved, and had a lasting impact on us all.
