Dear Suzanne, we’re very sorry to hear of Brian’s passing and wish to send you our deepest sympathy. Brian was a favourite cousin of our Dad’s, Geoff, who spoke about him several times in his later years. He said he would have loved to have met up with him again. Unfortunately Dad’s disability due to his stroke prevented him travelling down to see him, but he shared several memories of Brian, when Vera used to visit her sister Cam, and her family (the Farmers). I think Dad and Brian were close in age and had a lot in common, so they got on very well. In later years, my parents often spoke about how lovely it was to be invited to your 40th when they got to see you all again and we still have several photos of that event. We also have photos of when you and your family came to our house for our Great Aunty Helen’s 80th birthday party, which was a happy day and sunny enough for us to be able to eat outside in the garden. Sadly we won’t be able to attend the funeral on Tuesday, but we shall be thinking of you and the happy memories we have of your lovely Dad.
With our love and deepest sympathy ,
Emma, David, Jane and Julia (The Farmer family).
Dear Suzanne
I am so very sorry to hear your sad news. Your dad Brian was a real gentleman and a wonderful father to you and Janine. You have been a real support to your dad especially in the latter years and I know how proud he was of you & how much you will miss your lovely dad. Treasure all the happy times and will be with you on Tuesday. Lots of love Joanne xx
