To Chris and all your family.
We were so sorry to hear of Bryan’s passing, we had some good times over the years.
Bryan never changed, he was always the same whenever you met him, as you know the last time Bryan and I met was in hospital, we had some laughs together in there, it was a privilege to be his friend.
So again our sympathy go to you and your family.
My grandad was the best man you could ever meet.
He had the ability to light up any room he walked into and he was and always will be my best friend.
All my best childhood memories without a doubt always had grandad in them.
From picking me up from school everyday to calling me everyday just to talk to me.
He loved us all and his family were his life.
I will forever hold a special place in my heart for you grandad and I hope you know how much I love you.
My favourite thing is to watch the stars and you will forever be the brightest one looking over me ❤️
Love you forever ❤️

Some three months later we have only just learnt of the passing of Bryan and are shocked at the news. We knew he had been unwell and undergoing treatment for some time but, in the absence of further information, had assumed that he was making progress in recovery.
We first met Bryan when we bought our house in Ridge some 20 years ago where he had been part time gardener for the previous owners and had no hesitation in taking him on ourselves. He agreed and continued to visit weekly to keep our large garden neat and tidy, as well as any other odd jobs that had to be done. He enjoyed intervals of having a coffee, chat and a smoke and even willingly came specially to feed our cat when we were away. Poppy, likes most cats, was suspicious to start with but, in time, they became firm friends,
We feel fortunate to have known Bryan and wish Chris and the family sympathy for their loss at this sad time.
I miss you grandad 💗
