Has entered the sleep of eternal rest
Everyone consumed by grief and sorrow
For a loved one with whom they were blessed

You will miss her loving, caring ways
She will fondly be remembered forever
Precious memories are all that remain
United you will mourn her loss together

The hardest part is living without her
The pain and sadness will never wane
God called her home for a reason
Freeing her from more suffering and pain

She would want your lives to continue
To be happy and live life to the full
Bringing up her precious grandchildren
They filled her life; she adored them all

Always keep her close to your heart
She will walk beside you every day
Dry your tears that fall unbidden
And honour her legacy in every way

Even though now your heartbreak is raw
Numbness and shock prevail as you ask why
Memorize the years you had together
