Dale was a leading member of The Real Dad’s Army - a re-enactment and history group - who travel the country giving talks on the Home Guard. He had an extraordinary collection of Home Guard equipment and memorabilia. He had a 1933 Austin 7 van, complete with Home Guard livery and was known by many in Ferndown and an active member of the Royal British Legion.
Dale passed away peacefully at Royal Bournemouth Hospital on 27th September 2024 after a short illness.
Service Details
A Memorial Service is being held on Thursday 21st November at 1pm at All Saints Church, Hampreston, everyone is welcome to attend and if you wish to bring a small posy of flowers they will be gratefully received.
