1. To my wonderful Father – you shaped my life in countless ways and always guided and encouraged me through thick and thin. Your kindness, strength and values will continue to inspire me every day. I am so grateful for the time we shared together and for the memories we created. I will miss you always, and you will forever remain in my heart. Your loving son, Alistair

8. Farewell to a close and true friend of 68 years. Your warm, generous support and involvement in everything from homework to mopeds to motorbikes to cars to holidays and everything else (other than football, you being an Arsenal fan) was always much appreciated and you will be sorely missed by all who knew you. Even the difficult final years were borne with typical fortitude and humour and remain an inspiration to us all.

9. In memory of David, a lovely man who will be sadly missed, especially by his family and friends.

10. Dave will be deeply missed, as loyal a friend as anyone could have with a lovely sense of humour. We shared some wonderful unforgettable times. In recent years he showed such care and patience in the most difficult of times.

11. So many memories of you Dear David over 4 decades of friendship. Our families brought together in West Moors in 1982 by the common factor of having worked in the Middle & Far East. We have always cherished our friendship with you & dear Pauline & Alistair over the years. A kind & calming presence always.
