I shall miss our meetings over the years and especially your wit and amusingly intelligent conversations. I’m so glad that I visited you and Brenda before last Christmas, albeit from a distance outside the house. I believe that the following quote from one of Richard Sheridan’s books and plays would be one that you may have found appropriate, “I’m called away by particular business, but I leave my character behind me”.
