Such a kind, gentle soul with a lovely sense of humour and always such a pleasure to work with. David you are gone too soon but you will be remembered fondly by everyone you met.

Great memories of working with David at Binfield Library. So many laughs and happiness even in bad times. Loved hearing the stories about the ‘trolley dolly’ and life in the Parker household. Gone to soon RIP David. Thinking of Linda, Daniel and Alice x

You will be missed, such a lovely gentleman. I always enjoyed the time we worked together, great sense of humour and attention to detail. His closing tannoy call at the central library was a joy to listen to! All my sympathies to the family at this sad time.
I always enjoyed working with David in Bracknell Forest Libraries. Professional to the core but with a twinkle in his eye. It is no coincidence that staff and public alike would gravitate towards David – engaging, humorous and a fabulous person.
We feel really lucky to have known David. He had a wonderful sense of humour . Our thoughts go out to you Linda and your lovely family.

David you were and still are so loved by your gorgeous wife and children. I feel so fortunate to have spent time in Dorset with you and Linda enjoying your hospitality and great sense of humour. It always made me smile to see the wonderful relationship you & Linda had. You’ll be sorely missed for sure.

David was such a kind, funny and lovely man. He always made us laugh and always had a story to tell.

David was such a gentle, warm, and caring man, who always saw the best in people. He was a real delight to work with, and made flying a breeze, with his easy-going manner and expertise. It was always wonderful to see David, even after he retired from flying and took up working at the library in Bracknell – nothing was ever too much trouble for him – if I needed a particular book or resource, David was onto it, and made every effort to fulfil your requirements.
I pray David’s family will know the peace and blessings of God at this sad time of loss, and take heart in the tributes that so many people have left to this beautiful, kind man. Rest in peace, David.
