Both Marion and I will miss meeting you on our walks and having a enjoyable good yarn, rest in peace dear friend.
What a sad day for Swanage and everybody who was lucky enough to know Derek.
We worked together for a short time over 20 years ago but never once since then did Derek pass me in the street without giving a friendly wave and a quick hello, sometimes I was lucky enough to stop and have a chat.
The sun shone for Derek today but Swanage is a sad place tonight.
So many great memories a long time ago, our traditional Christmas card games with Fred and Nances at Worth. It was good to catch up 2015. Condolences to Helen and Sarah.

I’ve known Derek for a long time, back in the days when he played for Swanage with my father Don Puzey.
