We will all miss you, Grandma.

Dee and I were planning to come and see Dorothy as soon as this lockdown was over. A year since we last saw her. She was a good neighbour. We used to have lovely meals out, the original 5 bungalow owners. She is missed.
I will always be sharing fond memories of you Grandma and you will be sorely missed. Lots of love Christopher X
I miss Dorothy, she was a true friend and companion. Miss you so much rest in peace dear friend.
Thank you to all of you who attended Mum’s service this morning and to those who joined us on the webcast. We went global to South Australia, Spain and Jersey. For once I can say ‘hooray’ for technology. Thank you to those that made a long journey. It was a lovely service and I know that Mum would have enjoyed it and certainly laughed at a few recollections. Sad that we couldn’t have a gathering and toast afterwards but hopefully we can plan a get together in the summer. My Mum had a good long and happy life. I trust that my Dad now has a beer in hand and a Pimms ready to toast their re-union. Love to you all. Anne x
I would like to add my thanks to everyone who attended today, it was good to see everyone, what a good send off for mum!
Dorothy was a lovely lady and her lovely family did her proud with a lovely service. What beautiful photos of her and lovely tales of a wonderful life.
I am sorry I couldn’t be there to say goodbye Grandma. I have nothing but fond memories of our time spent together, with and without Grandad, and I take comfort in knowing that you and Grandad are finally together again. Get the scrambled eggs and cards ready for my arrival in around 50 years please. You will always be in my heart and I will love you forever. Stuart x
Dorothy was a great lady I worked for her and Ken for nearly 40 years. I remember the coffee she made for us at 11 o’clock and I got the buns. We had some good laughs over drinks in the Bear Inn, and remember her mince pies at Christmas. She’ll be sorly missed.
Dorothy was a kind, generous and caring lady who loved her family and friends. We have fond memories of her and she will be sadly missed.
Lovely memories with Dorothy 60 years of friendship and a large amount of Pimms
