  3. Ted was such a lovely gentleman. We had the pleasure of knowing the whole family when Ted was involved with WKFC many years ago probably some 30-40 years ago, although the football connection has long since gone, Ted remained a lovely friend who we would bump into in Kingston or the shop at Bere Regis or the doctors surgery. Ted never changed, he was always such great company and always ready with a controversial statement on one subject or the other. He was a lovely man. Ted will be sadly missed by many people. Our sincere condolences to Ralph and Joanne and the family at this sad time. Sadly we will be unable to attend the service, but we will be thinking of you and of course remembering all the happy times we shared with Dad.

  4. Such sad news to hear that Ted had died. A lovely man always full of fun and mischief and never any different whenever we saw him out and about – whether at Kingston or in Bere Regis at the shop or surgery. Fond memories of good times spent with him at Winterborne Kingston during Football matches, and bumping into him whilst out walking his dog. He was a truly lovely man always bright and cheerful. Sadly we won’t be able to attend Ted’s funeral but we send our deepest condolences to Ralph, Joanne and all the family at this sad time.

    Steve and Lesley Painter
