  4. My memories of Grandma
    -Telling me nursery rhymes and doing fingers shadows when I was going to bed
    -Triangle toast with jam on for my breakfast
    -Always treated us to the best toys for birthdays
    -Always supported us in whatever hobbies or interests we had
    -Going to the beach
    -Playing in the evenings
    -Watering her garden
    -If you behaved she would let us colour in with her good pencils
    -Going in the garden with her looking for clues (strawberries)
    -Being dragged to In-Excess on a rainy day
    -Going to car boot sales and the parks 🙂
    -Performing personal karaoke and dressing up to make her laugh
    -Replacing her rice pudding for horse radish
    -Doing basic magic tricks and watching her laugh

  5. My grandma was always generous not only in a material way but also with her time. My fondest childhood memories all involve her in some way.

    She sometimes said to me one of her favourite proverbs, “there are no pockets in shrouds” and I think it summed up her spirit nicely.
