  1. I will always remember the picnics and visits we went on with Elsie and Bob, always fun. And I know my parents, Helen and Ron Gapp enjoyed their company greatly. Elsie and mum kept in touch for many years and I know mum would send love and best wishes if she were able. I do so on her, and my, behalf x

  2. I loved Elsie dearly, she was my dearly loved big sister, the sister I never had.
When I was small she always protected and looked after me. When we both became teenagers we equalled (there was only two years difference between us). We would share our troubles and talk about the best way to handle our problems.
She was always such a happy person and made you feel that she was always pleased to see you, which I think she always was !
All my memories of her are happy ones, I only have to shut my eyes and I can see her lovely smiling face always.

  3. I was so happy when we finally made the connection with our English relatives. The day I caught up with Elsie was such a lovely day. Elsie told me stories about my grandmother and her mother also stories about my Dad, and even surprised with photos of myself as a baby, she also had the most beautiful photo of my grandparents on their wedding day. Although we only managed to catch up on that one day
it certainly was a most memorable day for me. Elsie thank you for telling me all those lovely stories about our family, and I know thanks to modern technology we were able to keep in contact.
Thinking of you all today and will try and watch the service again modern technology enabling me to say goodbye. xxx

  4. Thank you for allowing me to join you by watching the video link. Listening to everyone’s tributes just served to confirm what I have always known – that Elsie was a lovely person, full of the warmth, love and laughter that were constantly mentioned in describing her. My parents, the “Pam and Mike” mentioned by Peter, were lifelong friends. My mother was so very fond of Elsie, and kept in touch until they both were beyond it. I could have contributed a couple of humorous stories myself, from my childhood, had I been there today! All-in-all, she was a wonderful lady, and will be sadly missed. My condolences to you all.

  5. To all of Elsie’s family, We are so sorry to hear of your loss and offer our sincere condolences. We lost Alison’s Mum 6 months ago and although she is much missed physically she is still very much spoken about, thought about and held with love. May the laughter and happy memories bring you peace.

  6. Sarah, I will always remember your mum as such a warm and welcoming lady – I am so glad we spent that time with her and Lauren last year. She always had such humour and sparkle ⭐️⭐️⭐️
With love and our sympathy to all your family from Deb, Robin, Luke and Lucy xxx
