We’ll always remember his contagious smile and his cheerful voice when he greeted us. He loved hearing our children playing the garden and always had kind words for all of them. We know he sent special thoughts for our little one, “his little mate” Matteo ❤️

Thanks for all your help over the years and being a good role model. Always full of wisdom. We will miss hearing your stories and you will be sorely missed, but it was time for you to join auntie Joyce and relatives.

So sad to hear of George’s passing, I went to school with both Brian and Steve and have very fond memories of my time visiting them in Caterham, where we used to watch footie and then I remain firm friends with Steve to this day and still had quite a few chats with George on the phone and with the occasional visit to Poole.
George you was a true gentleman and a good laugh and may you R.I.P
