A chance meeting of two Kirkliston girls made a long lasting friendship with my parents. To a fantastic man, kind and generous to everyone. We have many happy memories. As well as many wonderful memories from my childhood.

Thank you for your years of friendship starting in Kirkliston and continuing when I moved south in 1955. John and I seemed to follow you and Margaret around including the move to Ferndown from London following retirement. Happy memories and a long lasting special friendship.

Uncle Gordon and Aunty Margaret were such good friends to my Mum and Dad and we always enjoyed spending time with them, they were part of our family and such a support to Mum later on. Lovely memories!

With love to a wonderful and much loved uncle (“Uncle Nobby”) from Janice x
So sad to hear of the passing of my much loved Uncle Gordon. So many happy childhood memories of visiting Uncle Gordon and Auntie Margaret in Charmain Avenue and later at Hatch End. A real character and a true gentleman.
Thinking of you at this sad time
Such happy memories of our friendly and caring Uncle Gordon. He was always warm hearted and interested in all the family.
With love Heather, Dave, Saskia & Arran
