  1. I was so sorry to hear about Grahams passing. He was a terrific influence at 618VGS whist he was on the staff and also well afterwards. We had many happy times, not least aboard HMS Hermes on our trip round the Med. He had a great sense of humour and always had a grin on his face. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
My thoughts are with his family & friends.

  3. How very sad and so untimely. He was a great character who lived life to the full. A great influence in the world of aviation starting with Air Cadets at 618 Volunteer Gilding School at West Malling and with a CV as long as your arm as helicopter pilot and instructor in the UK (RN) and overseas. Our condolences to his family and friends.

  4. From Caroline & Dennis Wright

Best friends since his days at Colfe’s Grammar School (665 Sqdn) to Flight Commander HMS Zulu, then Boss at the Oman Royal Helicopter Flight. We stayed with Graham a few times in Muscat, with him letting us drive his fast sports cars on the Oman duel carriageways. He introduced me to the ‘Dunker’ to get my Helicopter Underwater Escape Certificate so that I could serve with him on HMS Zulu in the Wasp (442), he knew it would scare the living daylights out of me and thought it was so funny. He showed me how to do a wingover Tower Bridge in the Wasp, after practicing a crash landing at Battersea Heliport and then posing to the Fish Heads standing outside HMS London alongside HMS Belfast – it was close but that was Graham. What an amazing character just like his dad. So proud to have know him and so sad that he has been taken away from us all at a young age.
Our thoughts and prayers with all his family and friends.
