Gwen aged 98 years passed away peacefully on Saturday 23rd July 2022. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

So many happy memories of a really wonderful friendship that meant so much. I loved the times that we spent together chatting about the “Good old Days”….our shared outings with Chris…and our meals and cups of tea that we had together.

A lovely lady who was like a second Mum to me and such a priviledge and pleasure to know for over 50 years. Always welcoming regardless of how she felt in herself. Happy memories of time spent chatting over the years. Daren’t try to think how many cups of tea she made for us !

We have known Gwennie for over 45 years and she was just like a Mum and a big part of our family.
She was such a lovely genuine lady who was always there for you and always loved friends popping in for tea and a natter ( she loved a natter 🥰 ) never a bad word about anybody.
She loved her boys they were her life and she was so proud of them.
We are all really going to miss her but we have very happy memories of her.
