At this time we stand beside you in the memory of Halina a truly wonderful, caring and compassionate lady.
Halina enriched our lives and energised our conversations. A lady of faith whom we were so fond of.

To Paul, Luci, Felicity and family,
Halina was a best friend and confidante for many years, She was beautiful, elegant, graceful, constant, faithful and true. She always searched for laughter, and found it everywhere. She loved everyone to share her happiness whenever it came along, and we remember so many times when this happened – parties, holidays, weekends, nights out, and meals throughout the years together. She was a great cook, and we shared uproarious laughter at Mary’s cooking efforts.
It was obvious that she delighted in her children, her grandchildren and of course you, Paul We were lucky enough to see your romance blossom, and we loved you both along the way.
She made everything special, and always laughed, sympathised and empathised throughout our lives together as friends. We will miss her more than we can find the words to say.
Goodbye, darling Halina. We will never forget you.

My friendship began with Halina when I became Link Inspector to her school. This professional relationship soon developed into a close friendship. She was a wonderful, caring, considerate lady who saw the best in everyone and was so easy to like and respect.
Her warmth radiated and her sense of fun and laughter lifted all our spirits. That memory will always be there.

So sorry, sad and shocked to hear of Halina’s death. She was a wonderful, loving person who I’m sure will be missed beyond measure. Today was a day that none of us wanted to happen, but the sun shone brightly and the vibrant colours of red and white lifted our hearts as we said goodbye to our dearest Halina.
Every word spoken told of her love for her family, her kindness, her laughter and her ability to bring people together. We spoke of her great vocation as a teacher, her mischievous smile and her wonderful sense of humour, the sparkle she bought to every party and of the enormous contribution she made in our community. She was special to so many people in so many different ways.

Without a doubt, she was my favourite teacher of all my school years – kind, compassionate and exciting, interested in what we were learning.
