I never met Hils, but we had been friends on Facebook for several years. She was a kind, genuine, funny and intelligent person – truly one of a kind. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. My deepest condolences to Hilary’s family and friends xx
Such fond memories of Hilary growing up, always such an amazing quirky humour and great insight, loved seeing her share that more widely recently too.

Sadly I never got to meet Hilary although we were Facebook friends.
She was a lovely, warm, intelligent and funny person and will be sorely missed.

We will so miss your cheery smile and cracking jokes Hilary. We are sad and feel cheated not to have known you and enjoyed your company for longer having only been neighbours for two years. We will keep a watch out for dad for you! Hope you are now at peace with your mum again. You were such a lovely special person. X
Happy memories of our time together working in the often surreal world of a local Civil Service department. Some of the funniest jokes, sayings and observations on life came from Hilary in those days. I still laugh at them 20+ years on. Ordinary life is indeed extraordinary in its detail and Hilary had a knack for spotting those details. Rest in peace Hils.
