  2. Uncle Ian was a wonderful, warm and caring man who you must miss very deeply. I am proud to have called him my Uncle (Lighthouse!) and I hope you gain comfort from the memories of him and many happy years together. You have lost a brilliant and loving husband, father and grandfather whose love for all his family was clear to everyone. xxx

    Claire, Ben & Ellie xx
  3. Uncle Ian was the kindest, gentlest, most warm hearted man who will be missed by all who knew him. A big man with an equally big heart whose family are a wonderful tribute to a life well lived and loved.

  7. I have very fond memories, although ancient and faded, of visiting from Australia as a teenager back in the 1970s. Uncle Ian took me on a terrific exploration of the Dorset area including his very interesting workplace, military museums, down to the coast, and probably some other fascinating places now lost in the sands of time in my mind. Lots of love to Ets and family xxx
