Dear Lynn and Family,
I was truly saddened to hear of Ian’s passing and am sorry that I am unable to be present as you say goodbye to him, I wish you all my deepest condolences.
Visiting at Christmas was one of my favourite parts of the festive period, Ian’s warm welcome always made me feel right at home before all the incredible food and festivities. I will always remember the spark of a little mischief he always carried with him.
My thoughts are with all the family during this terribly sad times
I am so sorry to hear that Ian has passed. my condolences to his family.
Working with Ian at Reuters in the early 1990s I found him to be a thoughtful kind man who got on well with his colleagues and did his job diligently and well.
He was far to young to leave us. A sad loss.
I’m very sad to hear about Ian’s passing. He was a great man with a great family and raised brilliant kids. He always generously opened up his home to us every year. May he rest in peace.
We will always remember our dear friend and Uncle Ian. We have many happy memories of a lovely man. With much love and best wishes from Julia, Dickon, Laura, Chloe, James and Harriet.
We were so sorry to hear of Ian’s passing. Sending our condolences to all the family.

Lynn, Baz, Andy, Nat, and all your family,
So sorry for your loss, and what a loss Ian is.
Will always remember with love his patience, wit, and generosity of spirit. As well as how loving and warm your family always are: a testament to his guidance and influence. He was always so wildly proud of you all.
Love to you all at this most difficult time.
Lyn, Natalie, Andrew & Sebastian. I was so sad to receive the news of your husband & father passing. I have many wonderful memories of Ian & all the times we spent together as a family with all the children growing up. Times that will never be forgotten & ones I look back on fondly. I know we don’t see each other often these days, however you are often in my thoughts, especially now. Thinking of you all & sending much love, Uncle Brian xxxx
Living in Cornwall we didn’t see the family as often as we’d like but it was always a pleasure having Ian’s company with us.
Dave & I were very fortunate to be with the family last month for a few hours.
Ian will be greatly missed by everyone who were lucky enough to know him.
All our love is with Lynne and the family, especially today.
We hope to see Lynne sometime soon in Cornwall.
with love Dave, Jane & Marg xxx
