RIP Lulworth Nanny. Master of the chocolate crunch. Queen of Lulworth ❤x
The kindest person I’ve ever met along with the best chef – always knew how to cook for your all of your many grandchildren without a fuss – nothing was too much trouble and we will all miss it dearly xx

Thank you so much for your email, a very sad one I know but as you know we knew Iris so well, she was a wonderful Dorset character, generous and with a wry sense of humour.
It is a pity we live far apart, it would be so nice to swap stories about her, she was such a good cook, she liked a flutter on the horses, perhaps she was difficult to get to know but you always knew she was there for you if you needed her. I always think of her in connection with Harry Dyke and the old beach cafe , Jenny and her in particular and of course Cissy.
We are lucky to have known Iris in so many different ways, you must miss her so much. Words sometimes are so inadequate… Iris was so much a part of our own family’s life for so long.
Rest in Peace Lulworth Nan, you were one of a kind and you’ll be truly missed by all. Until we meet again 🦋xxxx
Fond memories of ‘Auntie Iris’ – of long summer days and happy times.
The loving and well loved centre of family life – a life well lived, always remembered
for her gentle, kind interest and wonderful smile.
All our love
I have such fond memories of ‘Auntie Iris’, particularly when growing up in Lulworth. Always welcomed in with cake or biscuits, all crowded round at Christmas playing whist, Nap or Newmarket (with her tin of pennies), or discussing the horses. The end of an era!
Thanks for being such a wonderful Mum and for always being there for us all. Rest in peace, lots of love Den xxx
