He was such a kind warm welcoming person I very much enjoyed my visits having a lovely cuppa and a chat(sometimes in his lovely garden)about recent and past years the story’s he tells about his life and how he met his late wife Johannah were wonderful and amazing could sit for hours listening. He will be truly missed x

Such an amazing wonderful man. Every time we met I was in awe of his life and stories, and would listen for hours. Condolences to Ivan’s family, whom I know loved him dearly. I hope Johanna and Ivan are back together again, smiling and having a pot of Barry’s tea and cakes. I feel truly lucky to have met and spent time with them. Xx
