With love and very best wishes to Mary and all the family from the Baileys – we have the fondest memories of Ivor and what a kind, gentle and true gentleman he was. Ivor and Mary were really good friends to me growing up, with many a quiet, sensible word to a rebellious teenager explaining that his parents were probably right! And we shared some lovely times which are now treasured memories. Thank you for those.
My thoughts are with Mary and Ivor’s family. He was a real gentleman and it was a pleasure working for him at Winfrith.
I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Ivor. Over recent years our meetings at church have become fewer, but we exchanged a few words given the opportunity.
I shall always be grateful for his friendship.
