  6. Jeanne, you will always be remembered fondly as a kind, caring and strong lady who had a great passion for cats and your cattery business. Your loyalty and determination allowed you to run the cattery for as long as you were physically able.
The day I left the cattery when it closed, having working with you for 8 years was a sad day,but also filled with nostalgia and memories which I will hold dear for the rest of my life.
It was the end of an era for all, including the local community who relied on you for so many years to care for their cats.
First starting with you and Steve at the age of 14, I was a very quiet and shy young lady and I have no doubt that you both have helped develop me into the person I am today.
Jeanne, your love and knowledge of cats, as well as your determination and strength of character has taught me that I can achieve anything, if I work hard enough for it. You have also inspired me to work where I do today, the charity that you loved, Cats Protection.
    You are greatly missed.

  7. Jeanne was such a good friend to us both. We can still hear her greeting whenever we visited: “He’s down in the greenhouse, go down and find him. Cup of tea?………”. This would usually lead to us staying for several hours (that passed as if just 5 minutes), chatting to her and Steve. With her warm personality she was always interested in everything we were up to and in her own quiet way Jeanne was undeniably at the heart of everything. We will miss you Jeanne, but will always treasure the gift of your friendship.

  8. So sorry to hear of the sad news. She looked after our cats whenever we went away and always knew all her residents as if they were her own.
