My first boss at Royal Mail back in 1988. Jeff was one of the best managers I had the pleasure of working with; fair and firm and always willing to guide a 26 year old who, sometimes, thought he knew more than he really did. Great man for defending staff when unwarranted accusations were made of postal workers. Sadly missed . Richard Hordle.
