I was a volunteer with Jimmy for the Conservative party and he was always down to earth, practical and a real gentleman May he be rest in eternal peace
There are very few true old school gentlemen in the world today, but Jimmy was certainly one of them.
I know he will be missed by many, but no more so than by Simon & Katie, Annie and their Uncle David. Sending my love, thoughts & prayers during this difficult time and I hope my small donation will go some way to honour his memory.
In loving memory of a great friend.
In memory of Jimmy James. Thank you for a friendship of over 70 years. With enormous love and gratitude from Graeme and Susie.
My sincere condolences for your bereavement. My grateful thanks for all the invaluable help & kindness shown together with such interest when researching our respective branches of the family tree and the links with Church Knowle. We ascertained that we were distantly related via Jane, the youngest daughter of Kezia Burden of Church Knowle.
May I request that I be advised of a memorial service.

We used to look forward to Jimmy’s visits to the Vancouver office. His enthusiasm and bonhomie were infectious.
Angela and I also remember an enjoyable trip with him, Jane and the Grosvenor entourage to Hawaii and Australia in about 1974 and his generous hospitality in London the following year.
We were pleased and honored to have known him.
Our condolences and kind wishes to his family.
