John and I will always remember you, John, with love and kindness, and will treasure many happy occasions together – not least your visit with Rosemary to us here in Orkney.
I feel you and I were brought closer together by god’parenting roles and our shared interest in birds, wildlife and nature in general. As I watched ‘Winterwatch’ from RSPB Arne you were in my thoughts.
