John Alfred Childs (Plod)
John Alfred Childs (Plod)
John (Plod) aged 69 years suddenly passed away at home on Monday 17th August, 2020.
A much loved husband of Angie, loving dad of Suzanne, Adrian & to Tony & Susan.
A very special grandad of Nyah.
Miss you. I miss our trips to get food from the shops and then come back with a lot more food than Nan said. Still got the chocolate rappers of food we would hide in the truck and the car. Loved going in the tractor and driving it when you would fall asleep. When we tried new food if you liked it then we would go back and get it more times. When we would go past the volvo XC60 you would always want one and I would say no because you have a better one. Loved it when I gave you hot food and it would burn your mouth. The long roads we would take to get home and Nan would call you to see where we were and buying new machinery for the garden. Sometimes I cooked dinner in the afternoon and you would eat it just to make sure that it was good also when it was a roast night on Thursday and you would pick at the meat and Nan would get mad and she would always get angry because there was less at the end of our dinner.
Lots of Love,
Nyah
