John passed away peacefully at home on the 8th December 2024 aged 88 years. John was a beloved Husband to Judie and a much loved Dad and Granddad. He was a friend to many and will be missed by all who knew him.

I had the priviege of knowing John for over 20 years, and during this time enjoyed so many happy hours together woodcarving. I’m not really sure who learned more, John or I, but what I do know is that he taught me the art of Fossey-isms, whereby the simplest of things could be labelled in a hilarious way that we both understood. My life is that much richer knowing you John, thank you for all those fun sessions, and for your unblinking support with my work. Rest in peace mate 😉
