a sad loss, we send our sincere condolences to all the family
Finest gambling scrabble playing, floodlit croquet player, I have had the pleasure of knowing. I had the great fortune of spending time in his company learning some of life’s most important skills such as how to pour a glass of German bottled beer from great height and browsing Norfolk second hand book shops seeking out the correct version of the Oxford English Dictionary to buy. Unforgettable memories of a kind, thoughtful, generous and funny man.
A sad loss of a remarkable, kind and gererous man with a mischievous sense of humour. I will never forget my first sight of the recycled calendars from past years on the office wall, carefully retained for re-use again when the day/date cycle returned.
Moira and I send our sincere condolences to all the family.
Known too late, never to be forgotten.
Sue Steve and Jean Humby
A lovely kind man who reminded me so much of my grandad when I first saw him. So glad you came into our lives, wish we had got to know you better
Sleep well
With much love from Debbie Hank and Family xx
This message is very late, but I wanted to say I enjoyed meeting John Later in life and I doing a little bit of work with him. The eulogy and his life story was fascinating.
