John was a generous, kind and funny man and he will be greatly missed.
John was a close friend of both my father and step mother. In this he was unstinting in his loyalty and support. John and his wife greatly helped them both in difficult times and provided a richness of friendship that is hard to better. John will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
