  1. Sincere condolences at this sad time to all John’s family in England, from his sister Joy sent on behalf of the Nason family in Australia. The family photograph in the Gallery was taken on 28 January 1953 at Southampton, England on the occasion of the departure of our mother Hilda Nason (nee Beresford) and the three youngest children to join our father Joseph Nason in Sydney, Australia. It is the only photograph in existence of all 8 siblings together – Donald, Mildred, Beryl, John, David, Janet, Edward and Joy. John is third left back row.
