Precious one so small, so sweet
Dancing in on Angel’s feet
Straight from heaven’s brightest star
What a miracle you are
I was truly blest to meet the best
Granny you have touched the hearts of many people , I still can’t believe this has happened and although your wings were ready our hearts were not ! But you really are the most beautiful angel in the sky now and I will never forget all the memories we have together. We all miss you so much! We promise to always look out of grumps and to keep your memories alive ❤️
~ Arghhh, gather round ye motley crew, and grab a cup of grog,
For I would like to raise a toast to the first mate that we’ve lost.
Ol’ Split Bone was the toughest lass to sail the seven seas,
She danced around the deck with Captin’ Skelly with great ease.
Her and the crew would plunder ships and leave their chests empty,
Pockets full of gold dubloons, and the treasure, there was plenty.
So raise your cup of grog with me to Ol’ Split Bone way up high,
May she sail across the clouds and keep on dancing in the sky. ~
We love you Ganny! Thank you for giving us the most magical childhood! I will forever cherish the memories of everything we’ve done with you! Fligh high Ganny, you truly are the most beautiful angel in the sky 💖
We only knew Joyce for a couple of years but it felt as if she had always been a friend. Her smile and happy disposition was inspiring and we feel privileged to have had her living in Buttercup Close. During Lockdown
on the 75th Anniversary of the end of World War 2 along with the nation Joyce and I sang on our doorsteps There will be Blue Birds over the White Cliffs of Dover, Robin had his Union Jack and it was a moment to remember and treasure.
May Joyce sing and fly with those Bluebirds again.
With our heart felt sympathy and love to Robin and family.
Vivienne and Martin
Family is forever and you will always be there in our hearts and thoughts. Never forgotten.
Dearest Joyce
We will no longer hear your voice
But will communicate with our hearts and see you with our memories 💗
Say not in grief that she is no more, but say in thankfulness that she was.
Joyce will be be remembered by all whose life she touched, and she will always be in our hearts.
Such a lovely friend and neighbour. You brought so much fun and joy into ours lives in the short time we knew you. Wish we had known you longer. Rest in peace.
Lots of love Jan & Steve
Our deepest sympathy goes out to you at this very sad time. Wishing your family and loved ones peace, comfort, courage, and lots of love.
Joyce will be sorely missed by the entire team who worked with her at the Donaheys Dancing with the Stars Weekends.
In Loving Memory of a Special Person.
From all your friends in Buttercup Close.
We feel so privileged to have met Joyce on a River Danube cruise. On the first evening we met Joyce and Robin, it could be seen that we would get on really well. Many an evening was spent in the bar, enjoying the entertainment, laughing and dancing the night away. A proper ‘Barnaby’ as they would say in Macclesfield.
Joyce was a most beautiful, caring and fun loving person and will be forever in our hearts. We still have the lovely memento you gave to us at the end of our cruise….an Austrian Flag! No doubt influenced by Robin’s penchant for vexillology!
The ‘ballroom of angels’ will be a far richer place for her presence.
Our thoughts are with Robin and all his family.
Love from Dave & Margaret XX
Joyce – you brought and shared so much Joy & Happiness into our world, you were a very special friend.
Your passion for dance was infectious to us all – especially your Argentine Tango & Quickstep.
It was our pleasure to have you as such a valued member of our Dancing With the Stars team, looking after all the Strictly Stars and dancing with Robin under the giant mirror ball.
We will always treasure the memories of happy times with your smiling face across the dance-floor.
You’ll be sorely missed as a friend, as a dancer, and by all the Donahey’s Team & guests.
Now you are a sparkling Star shining bright and dancing through our skies.
Rest in Peace, we miss you dearly
Paul, Amy and Shirley Donaghey
