  9. Dear Julie, words cannot adequately express how much you meant to us as a family and how deeply your loss is felt. There was no end to your generosity of time and spirit. You seemed to know instinctively what we were thinking and feeling and quietly steered us in the right direction. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, wisdom and strength with us. Thank you for energising us and lifting us up in a way that no other person could. You were the hug, the warm blanket, the comfort and a very rare and precious friend. You were a wonderful gift that came into our lives and touched us in a deep, special and unique way and every minute in your company was a privilege and a pleasure. Rest in peace Jules.

  12. I am writing on behalf of Swanage WI, of which Jules was our lovely Secretary.
In the time Jules was a member of the Swanage WI, her drive to make a positive contribution to Swanage WI and the wider Purbeck community was evident for all to see. She did it with kindness and consideration for everyone, but with a clear determination to make a difference.
Not having Jules amongst our number is a huge loss, which is felt deeply by many of our members.
We have a Jules shaped ‘ hole’ in our WI, but I’m sure she would just want us to get on with what the WI does best and in doing so we will always keep the memory of Jules in our hearts.

    Karen Corney, President Swanage WI
