Enjoy watching the planes from a different view, we love & miss you Grandad xx
A true gentlemen. Lovely Grandad, now reunited with his beloved wife. May you RIP.
All my love Jennifer xxx
Grandad you are one in a million. A Grandad who will be missed by us all very much. Your beaming smile is now amongst those very stars you used to point on to us when we were younger.
May you now rest in peace, love you always and forever. XXX
Th is dear, dear man was a gentleman through and through. I talked to him every Sunday morning and he always thanked me for taking the time to speak to him. He didn’t believe he was a joy to talk to. I could talk to him about any subject and I always learnt something new. He enjoyed my silly sense of humour too. I do hope he’s now with his beloved ‘my girl’ Betty. I will miss him dearly. Love you Ken.
In memory of my ‘virtual Dad’ a dear man who shone a beacon of light into so many lives, including mine.
These words by W. Shakespeare express my thoughts – “When we love someone, we must learn not to live without them, but to live with the love they left behind”. Thank you dearest Ken for all the love and kindness shown to me, my Mother and my sons. You will be in my heart always. Love always, your ‘Daughter no 3’.
Uncle Ken taught me how to be not only a gentleman, but a respectful person. Always greeting with smiles and long, firm handshakes – stoic yet gentle. I feel very lucky to have had such a figure in my life and I know my brothers hold him in the same regard. Uncle Ken will be missed, but his memory will be held lovingly through us all.
Sending my love and condolences to the family.
Sending love and condolences to the family on the passing of their beloved Grandad Ken.
A wonderful man and a true Gentleman who will always be in our hearts, thoughts and memories. Our deepest and sincere condolences to all family, friends and loved ones. RIP Uncle Ken xx
Love James and Family ❤️
Uncle Ken was someone who, even without saying a word, could provide so much warmth and kindness. Always there with an outstretched hand and a broad smile when ever he would greet me.
I don’t think he truly knew just how much he taught me about being a man, but I hold all he had to offer very close to my heart. He was a true gentleman and will never be forgotten.
Sending all my love and condolences during this time.
Ken,
You were my father’s first cousin, and the link to all of our dear U.K. family. We were so very fortunate to come visit with you on both trips to the U.K. from our home in the USA. You showed us such warmth and care that made us feel so welcome during our stay. You will always be a true gentleman, and missed very dearly.
Ken it was a great pleasure meeting you, going for a walk with you and Jan and loved your response to the humorous cards I’ve sent you on birthdays. Rest in peace you lovely man xx
I send condolences to everyone in the Whistance family, especially his daughters Anne and Janet. He was so special to me that I can only imagine your grief in losing him. May all his great attributes live on in your lives now. With Love from Linda Harris.
I don’t do well with expressing how I feel into words. So I will use a quote close to my heart “How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.”
Lots of love A xxx
To my Gramps
You now have a better view of the stars and planes from the sky above but to me you have gone to the international space station and will be watching over us as you fly round every 90 mins!
I’ll be waving as you go past.
