Lionel was a beloved family man. Proud of his three children and wonderful to his wife Kathy, our sister. Lionel had a fantastic relationship with his father in law our Dad Jack Davis and our mom Anne Davis. Our family was enriched by the presence of Lionel Fynn. The blessing will continue for generations.
Lionel was an amazing person, an excellent lawyer with a wonderful personality and a good friend. I had many interesting times with him particularly when he joined myself, Vernon and Monika Maitland when we shipped an Excelsior coach to Australia and drove it across the Continent visiting Travel Companies. Many times my wife and I joined him at the Basingstoke Bisons Ice Hockey games. He enjoyed so many interests and was a real gentleman and family man. My very sincere condolences to his family.
Lionel was a great man. I was part of our group of four friends playing squash at West Hants for many years – Lionel, Jim, John and Roger. I am the last man standing of the four.
Thank you Kathy for inviting me to Pebble Beach, I was able to chat to the Fynn family and other friends.
