  1. In memory of a very special lady who was always so kind and had such an amazing sense of humour. You were my mum’s best friend and I will never forget the wonderful friendship and support you offered her. It truly was an honour to have known you
We send our love and support to your wonderful family with much love from Sue and Peter Boyles

  2. Our Little Nannie

Our Little Nannie, so small yet so grand,
With a coffee in hand and a cream-only stand.
No milk for this queen…….oh no, never that,
She sipped with her pinky, in her favourite hat.

She’d gasp at a sneeze like the roof had collapsed,
But when life threw its hardest, she’d quickly adapt.
A master of drama in the gentlest way,
With a wink and a chuckle, she’d brighten the day.

“A little sherry?” she’d ask with a gleam,
As Christmas lights danced in a soft festive dream.
With puzzles and word searches stacked by her chair,
She’d hum to The Sound of Music, lost in the air.

Oliver! played while her fingers would trace
The words that would challenge and light up her face.
Her heart held so many…….so deeply, so true,
And every soul near her just somehow knew.

Though time tried to tangle her thoughts in its thread,
She remembered our names, our faces, our stead.
And even at twilight, soft, gentle, uncanny…..
She still knew till end, she was our Little Nannie.

So here’s to her laughter, her love, her grace,
To the joy she would bring just by being in place.
Though we’ll miss her forever, we’ll hold her near,
In every soft memory, every smile, every tear.

    Benjamin Pinfield-Wells
