To Maggie’s family,
John and I are so very sorry to hear of Maggie’s death. Maggie was my schoolfriend, my flatmate in London, and my bridesmaid nearly 50 years ago. I remember the excellent dinner parties she gave when we were living together in Parsons Green in 1965/66, and learned quite a lot from her. She also loved the little garden we had there, and grew tobacco plants which gave off a beautiful scent on summer evenings. We kept in touch for quite a long time, even though I was living in South Africa for 10 years and now Australia for 40 years.
Thinking of all Maggie’s family at this sad time.
With our sincere condolences.
To Ian, Annabelle and family,
Fond memories of Maggie from our time in school together and later when I was over visiting from Sweden.
Maggie was an integral part of our group and although I had not seen her for quite a few years her name always came up when we reminisced about the fun times we had together in school, London and Poole. She will continue to be part of our collective happy memories.
Keep smiling Maggie.
Love and hugs from Sue
