I went to primary and secondary school with Malcolm, and although we were never great friends, I remember him as a child and teenager as a strong guy with high moral standards who was liked by everyone. The last memory I have of Malcolm was when we were 17, and working at our first jobs at different banks in Poole. We met at lunchtime and hired a canoe on Poole park lake. Unfortunately it capsized and we were soaked from head to foot, and both had to go home in disgrace!
I saw a photo of someone on Monday this week, and thought it looked a lot like I remember Malcolm looking, which prompted my search to find out what he was doing now. I’m so sorry to learn this sad news, and I’m so sorry for Malcolm’s family and friends. His loss must leave a massive gap in your lives.
