  3. A perfect gentleman with the most amazing dry sense of humour. You will be greatly missed, we will always remember the wonderful times we had together, Amsterdam Le Touqet and Eypres. Our most wonderful tour guide.

    Sue Barry and Vicky Bunyan.
  4. Martin, so sorry buddy. We had some good times together on the SCPU and also socially, its seems like just yesterday we were having a good drink at Bris’s farewell!

What a Great Loss so early
Always so full of life, and an excellent family man and mason.
He will be so missed in his several walks of life.
We are really sad at such bad news.

  9. Our thoughts are with you all at this very sad time.
Martin was a good, loyal and trusted friend for close on fifty nine years. So many great memories of the ‘adventures’, laughs and scrapes we got into as teenagers!
In latter years we have valued and enjoyed the times we have spent together; Martin was always good company with his dry, wry and sometimes, delightfully irreverent sense of humour.
A good friend who will be greatly missed.

  11. Such a character, scary at times being so little and you being so big! Will always be our BGG Big Grumpy Giant. Couldn’t have asked for a more caring, fun, lovely Godfather. Love Katie, Mark, Bruce & Lottie xxxx

  13. Although we were reasonably close relatives, cousins, we didn’t communicate regularly or often. The times we did get together, however, normally at his instigation, were enjoyable and memorable. He passed too soon and will be sorely missed by his family and many friends. We were pleased to be able to attend the celebration of his life and get the chance to meet some of his close family.

    Be at peace Martin.

  14. With a glass of whisky in hand I shall always remember you.

  15. Such a privilege to have known Martin over the last 10 years in Ringwood, some great stories shared, some amazing fish (giant trout) enjoyed, a fabulous friend and supporter of local causes, a real character, you are missed already.

Lots of love to all your family
